The children have loved our Christmas party with balloons! We have enjoyed learning new games such as musical chairs, statues and bumps. Our favourite was pass the parcel! Whilst we played our games, the children learnt many different skills such as, action words ‘stop’ and ‘go’. They followed instructions and showed understanding that not everyone wins. They were able to move in many different ways to music alone or with friends. This helped them to develop their gross motor skills, including when we played pass the parcel as they opened the gift. We saw lots of different emotions of excitement, happiness, sadness and the anticipation of who has won.
Some of the children have had photos taken in the sleigh for the Christmas cards joining in the festive spirit!
